Engage, Empower, End violence…
eCubed was founded in 2018 as a volunteer organisation to raise money for non-profits that share our mission to help end violence around London. We believe that if we engage the people, they can empower their communities to end violence.
We do this through a series of music and sports event, including our signature gig – Rock Against Violence (RAV). RAV was launched in 2011 by volunteers, and almost a decade later, we have expanded to include various other fundraising events from concerts to road races to afternoon tea – all facilitated by a volunteering committee that we call eCubed. Till date, we have raised more than £150K in unrestricted funds for non-profits.
Our current charity of choice is Solace Women’s Aid, who does an outstanding job or supporting survivors of domestic and sexual abuse across London.
We are currently urgently seeking a volunteer accountant who can assist us in the proper formatting of our first set of annual accounts. We have launched our brand end of 2018, and this is the first year we will be operating as a social enterprise.
Your involvement with the committee can be as little or as much as you want, as we always encourage participation and networking opportunities throughout the year. However, if you choose to simply stick to the financials and deal with the accounts, that’s just as welcome!
We would be grateful to hear from any registered accountants who might be able to provide this service to us free of charge. The books are well-kept and up-to-date, and all the data exists in a spreadsheet. Our financial activity is limited and this should be a small undertaking. We are happy to do everything we can to make it as easy as possible!
