Homefield College are currently looking to invite new members to join the Board, to work with existing Trustees and the College’s Senior Management Team to lead on the vision and strategic direction of the charity.
Homefield College provides education and services for people with learning disabilities, the majority of which are on the autistic spectrum. We adapt the teaching and support on offer to meet each individual’s needs and strengths.
Our small, committed and friendly team of Trustees have a passion for making a difference to the lives of our students and residents.
We would welcome applications for new Trustees from those who have:
- Experience at strategic level within an organisation
- The ability to analyse information
- Vision, enthusiasm and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
To maintain our balance of skills and experience on the Board, we are particularly interested to hear from applicants who have experience in one of the following areas:
- Property management and development
- Finance and accounts management
- Knowledge of community development and funding opportunities
- Background in learning difficulties in education or care settings
