Could you use your business skills to help a local charity?
We are currently recruiting for Trustees to join our Board and use their experience to provide the strategic guidance needed to ensure that our association is running well and is doing what it should. We particularly need people support from people with skills and experience in finance, legal, HR and safeguarding. However, we would be happy to hear from anyone who is interested in taking up a role that makes a real difference to our work, positively impacting the lives of local young people.
Trustees are responsible for ensuring that:
- The association operates within the legal and financial requirements of the Housing Act, Charities Acts and Company Law.
- There is a well-formed strategy.
- Work is delivered by the staff team that enables the association to achieve its charitable and strategic objectives.
The role of trustee is undertaken on a voluntary basis. We would need you to commit to attend board meetings on a 6-weekly basis in the evening in Coventry and an annual celebration event which will be held in Coventry in September, date to be confirmed, as a minimum.
