Kids in Museums is looking for new Trustees to join its Board. This is an exciting time to get involved with Kids in Museums’ work. The Charity was recently awarded NPO (National Portfolio Organisation) Sector Support Organisation status with Arts Council England and an annual grant of £160,000 for the next four years. The team is therefore growing, as is the ambition of the organisation.
We want to recruit at least two Trustees to start their work with us at the end of 2018/early 2019. We invite applications from people who have a demonstrable interest in the power of museums and the arts to transform the experiences and aspirations of children, young people and families. For this recruitment round we are particularly interested in meeting people who have expertise in one of the following i) financial management and business planning, ii) PR and communications and iii) HR. We seek applications from a diverse range of backgrounds and encourage all who are interested in the work of the Charity to apply.
A full role description and person specification can be found at https://kidsinmuseums.org.uk/about/vacancies/#trustee18
Application is by CV and covering letter to our Chair, Emmajane Avery. Emmajane is happy to speak to candidates informally about the role. The closing date for applications is Sunday 30 September 2018.
