New Note Projects is a Brighton based charity that uses music to create life changing experiences and recovery for people who are dealing with addiction, homelessness and mental health issues. We have been established for four years and have achieved a national profile for our work, including most recently being featured in a Centre for Social Justice report on addiction in our society.
We have a small Board of Trustees who support our Chief Executive and Founder, Molly Mathieson in operating and developing New Note Projects. We are looking to recruit a trustee with a finance qualification to join the Board; experience of charity accounts, funding applications and financial control is desirable but not essential. The time commitment is a maximum of four meetings a year with a limited amount of input in between.
The Trustee will be be involved in all aspects of governance and strategy with a specific focus on the financial management of the charity.
