Make a real difference to the lives of animals.
The south Bucks branch of the RSPCA cares for around 400 sick, injured and abandoned animals in our local area each year. Finding them new homes and giving them a second chance is the main focus of our work. Many are beloved pets from owners who can no longer care for them; others are rescued from abuse and neglect.
We are looking for new trustees who will add to the broad range of skills and expertise on our existing Board. As a trustee you will have the chance to influence how the branch continues its valuable work to help and promote animal welfare. As an animal lover this will allow you to be able to make a real difference to the lives of animals.
Most people aged 18+ are eligible to become a trustee. All trustees must be a member of the RSPCA South Bucks branch.

- Ability to think creatively and strategically, exercise good, independent judgement and work effectively as a Board member.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to participate actively in discussions and numeracy to the extent required to understand financial records and accounts.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience or skills related to:
- Governance / GDPR
- Company secretarial
What's in it for the trustee?
It's a great way to meet like-minded people who share your enthusiasm for animal welfare. You will have the opportunity to gain new skills and develop existing ones, whilst making a real difference to the lives of animals.
Board meetings are held monthly in High Wycombe at 7:30pm.
