Hampton School is one of the country’s leading, most successful and best-resourced independent schools, and has been helping boys to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations for over 460 years. The Hampton School Trust is comprised of Hampton School (boys 11-18) and Hampton Pre-Prep and Prep School (boys and girls 3-7; boys 7-11). The School is a lively, friendly and caring community of 1560 (414 in the Sixth Form) pupils and 470 teaching and support staff, where innovative teaching is underpinned by strong shared values and complemented by outstanding pastoral care. Hampton aspires to enable its pupils not only to make sense of the world but also to want to go out and improve it.
Successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate an interest in education, as well as substantial knowledge and experience of executive and/or non-executive management in the private, public, or not-for-profit sectors. The Trust welcomes applications from candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, although individuals are sought with expertise in one or more of the following areas: business leadership, strategic finance and accounting, law, human resources, public relations/marketing and communications.
