ICAEW Remuneration Committee Member

Purpose of the Board or Committee

The Remuneration Committee is responsible for all matters relating to staff remuneration and volunteer expenses reporting to the Board with recommendations as required.

Purpose of the role

To actively contribute in reviewing and agreeing:

  • The remuneration for the
  • Chief Executive Officer
  • Chief Operating Officer
  • Chief Financial Officer
  • Chief Officer, Regulatory & Conduct
  • The principles in setting staff remuneration and the sums made available to the CEO each year for application of staff salaries
  • The principle and policies relating to travel and subsistence and other expenses payable to office holders

Time commitment: On average four meetings a year lasting two hours

Meeting location: Mix of virtual meetings and meetings at Chartered Accountants’ Hall, London

Term of office: Members appointed in 2021 will serve a first term of office until June 2024.
