We Care Home Imptovements (WECHI) is seeking to appoint a new non executive director to join the Board as Treasurer and Chair of the Audit & Finance Committe.

WECHI is a Bristol based non-profit making organisation providing property maintenance services, including adaptations and repairs, for older and disabled people to enable them to remain in their own homes and live independent lives. We work in the west of England region and have offices in Bristol and Gloucester.  

The successful candidate will assume the role of Treasurer and Chair of the Audit & Finance Commitee. We are looking looking for an accountant who can bring good finance and commercial skills to the team. We also expect applicants to share our aims and values with a genuine interest in the needs and aspirations of older and disabled people. 

Alongside statutory Board duties, non executives work closely with the leadership team providing advice and support and getting involved with projects from time to time. The Board meets six times a year and the Audit & Finance Committe meets four times a year.  

Whilst not a fixed term, we hope that the candidate will serve for an initial term of up to 3 years.
