The ICAEW Assessment Committee is responsible for ratifying examination results and dealing with all matters relating to assessment. It is a subcommittee of the ICAEW Learning and Professional Development Board.
The committee is looking to appoint a member to join the committee from June 2019. Candidates need to be a member of ICAEW and interested in training and assessment, especially in the accountancy field. A knowledge of training ACA students or involvment in the process would be an advantage.
Applications are invited from members who believe they are able to contribute to the committe's work and are willing to voice their opinions and work collaboratively with a team of other ICAEW members.
Meetings are usually schedule in the a.m. for half a day. There are normally seven Assessment Committee meetings a year. The committee meets at the beautiful Grade II historic building of Chartered Accountants' Hall at at One Moorgate Place.
This is an unremunerated role, but reasonable expenses are reimbursed as per ICAEW policy.
Successful candidates will join the committee for a first term of two years from 4 June 2019.
