Independent Trustees, IOSH Board
The IOSH Board is looking for Independent Trustees with experience of operating at a senior strategic level with a strong commercial acumen, as well as an understanding of governance and the fundamental duties and responsibilities of a trustee.
They seek people who will be committed to IOSH and can demonstrate strategic vision, sound commercial and financial acumen and excellent communication skills and are particularly keen to attract commercial individuals who bring expertise in either technology, digital, finance, audit and risk management within a global business.
As an active role, it also requires a willingness to devote the necessary time and effort to fulfil the duties of a trustee.
The time commitment is around 12 days a year, inclusive of board meetings, development days, and board committee meetings. The term of office is three years which can be extended up to six-years.
Independent Non-Executive Director, ISL Ltd
The commercial subsidiary ISL Ltd seeks a new Independent Non-Executive Director to join the Board of Directors.
They seek someone who is collaborative with strong business acumen, strategic and analytical skills and substantial experience at Director level reporting to a board. It also requires experience of developing strategic objectives and commercial planning and performance delivery within a modern and agile organisation.
The time commitment is around four days per year and includes four board meetings and preparation time. Meetings can be attended via video conference facilities where practical.
