The REIGN Collective Advisory Board

REIGN is seeking to appoint an advisory board member to our fast-growing organisation. We are looking for an individual who has knowledge or experience in the financial management of non-profit organisations to work closely with our finance manager in handling the company’s bookkeeping. We want to work with this person to develop our current systems and ensure we are managing our finances, accountant, and HMRC related responsibilities correctly. REIGN’s advisory board requires members to be committed to our organisation’s mission and the responsibilities set out. We’re looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who can spare time to attend the minimum four meeting per year and support our finance manager with specific issues or concerns if and when they arise.

REIGN’s Mission and Story

REIGN is a training and campaigning organisation focused on tackling Child Sexual Exploitation [CSE]. Our project is completely owned and operated by survivors of CSE and we use our lived experiences alongside our professional knowledge and research to educate professionals, practitioners, and anyone else with a role in protecting children or supporting survivors of sexual abuse. We aim to fix the systems that failed us as children whether they be in the form of social institutions or ideological beliefs. Our project started in 2016, supported within the Manchester based youth charity RECLAIM. In 2019, we took our project independent, set up as a community interest company, and began trading through delivering our unique training programme to services and organisations across the country. Our work gives professionals the opportunity learn from our lived experiences, understand why and how children are sexually exploited and how best to help survivors and children still suffering abuse today.
