Mousetrap Theatre Projects seeks a Financial Account - Pro Bono
Founded in 1997, Mousetrap Theatre Projects is a theatre education charity committed to providing opportunities for disadvantaged young people and young people with special needs to attend outstanding theatre productions across London. Most theatre visits include a an education programme run by drama practitioners who use drama as a way to teach new skills, broaden horizons and raise aspirations. Mousetrap identifies young people through London state schools (mainstream and special), youth clubs and families and each year engages close to 15,000 young people through its 23 access, creative learning and youth engagement programmes.
Mousetrap Theatre Projects has a part-time bookkeeper who handles the day-to-day financial responsibilities of the charity and our auditors, Buzzacott, conduct our annual audit, but we are seeking a retired professional accountant who would be willing to review the monthly accounts and provide financial advice and support. We believe this will require no more than a few hours monthly and would be perfect for an individual who has an interest in young people, theatre, arts and education.
If you are anyone you know would be interested in this position, please contact Susan Whiddington, Director at email@example.com or call on 020 7632 4114.
