Job Description

Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity (FNHC) is looking for a new Trustee with senior financial expertise to join our Board of Trustees.

We would love to hear from you if you have a background in finance and an accountancy qualification. We need these skills to help ensure that our Charity is well run and able to raise and steward the funds needed to deliver essential hospice care in Buckinghamshire and bordering areas.

Our Board of Trustees is a group of volunteers who govern the Charity, supporting and constructively challenging the CEO and paid staff team, to ensure that we serve our charitable purpose and meet our strategic aims, whilst staying financially healthy and in line with the law.

You don’t need to have been a trustee before and we welcome applications from all ages and backgrounds. Professional experience is more important as well as wanting to develop your own skills by contributing to our governance team. Ultimately you will be benefitting the Hospice cause locally.
