Job Description

IWI is seeking an experienced social media marketer to create and execute multi-channel social media marketing campaigns and community around our projects. Our goal with social media is to generate buzz and drive viewership by creating conversation, engagement and community around the themes of our programmes and projects. As an organisation which is run 100% by volunteers, we are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who can help lead IWI while ensuring we remain true to our mission and goals.


§ Create and execute overall social media campaigns (social and digital)

§ Create and manage all content for social media (photography, video, blogs, copywriting, design, newsletters, graphics, etc).

§ Manage and update all social media channels daily.

§ Create database of content for all social media channels.

§ Manage, monitor and engage in conversations with followers.

§ Establish/manage relationships with influencers.

§ Manage a small team of social media specialists.


§ 2-3 years paid social media experience, including experience overseeing a big campaign

§ Experience with crowdfunding promotion a bonus

§ Creative, strategic thinker

§ Demonstrated ability to manage large scale projects; excellent time and task management in fast paced environment; ability to juggle a lot at once

§ In-depth knowledge, understanding and experience with Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, MailChimp, etc.)

§ Excellent writing skills

§ Proficient in: SEO, SEM, Photoshop CC, Google Analytics, Google Ad Words, MailChimp, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.
