REVIVE Camaign Community Interest Company is a small, recently formed not-for-profit organisation. We advocate at an international political level for victims of conflict and explosive violence. We work closely with UK Parliamentarians, Ministers and civil servants, EU bodies and relevant United Nations directorates.
We also partner with humanitarian NGOs such as the Sir Bobby Charlton Foundation, Emergency UK, Action on Armed Violence and mine-action bodies such as HALO Trust and Mines Advisory Group.
Our board are all volunteers and we are looking for a volunteer Company Secretary to manage our financial affairs, organise board meetings (usually held in the Houses of Parliament, but now needing to be done by Zoom) and some general administrative work alongside the Executive Director. There may also be some supervision of student volunteers and help with fund-raising.
The job will also require management of the finances for two All Party Parliamentary Groups.
This is a board level role and would suit either a senior practitioner with a few hours to offer each month, or a young, ambitious accountant looking for experience at board level and exposure to a political environment.
An interest in humanitarian affairs, international development or peace building would be a distinct advantage.
