The Stroke Association is looking for Cheer Point Volunteers to dedicate just a few hours of their day to support #TeamStroke as they take on the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
Volunteer to support #TeamStroke, meet new people and help us rebuild lives.
As a cheer point volunteer, you need to be ready to bring energy, make noise and share love to everyone choosing to run in support of the Stroke Association.
Not only will you be motivating the team to go that extra mile on the day, but also encouraging them to choose #TeamStroke for their next challenge and inspiring others to take part in our future events. All of this, in turn, will help us fund vital research, campaign for greater awareness and provide better stroke care. The role of Cheer Point Volunteer at the London Landmarks Half Marathon is for anyone who is enthusiastic about charity and motivated to support people.
You would be an ambassador for the Stroke Association, helping to encourage and cheer on participants taking part in our sporting challenges.
Our exact cheer point location is yet to be confirmed, but should be near Temple Station on the Embankment.
The weather in London can be temperamental and so even though you will be full of energy and moving around a lot, you will be required to have adaptable dress, suitable for all weathers.
