Tempo is passionate about the way Time Credits can be used to enable local communities to become strong and resilient. We do this by working in partnership with others engaged in community development, from grassroots organisations to statutory agencies and Time Credits are the glue that hold these partnerships together.
What will you be doing?
Alongside the experienced CEO, this is the key leadership role in Tempo, ensuring that we are well governed, forward focused and that we excel in our core purpose. We are looking for someone who brings a track record in good governance, is expert at nurturing relationships across the Board and with the CEO, and who has the leadership talents to inspire both our organisation and its stakeholders towards excellence.
We estimate the time commitment to average around two days per month, and most business can be conducted virtually.

What are we looking for?
There is no typical profile for our Tempo Chair. We’re interested in passionate individuals from a variety of backgrounds who can lead and manage the skills and backgrounds of our current Board of Trustees.
