The British Kickboxing Council is looking for someone to take up the role of Treasurer, assisting the Board with monitoring the financial elements of our operations as a non-profit-making sports governing body.
In addition to ensuring accurate financial management, the Treasurer will be asked to provide quarterly and annual summaries, as well as provide advice and insight on methods of balancing income with funding for our various projects. This includes helping to set and manage budgets.
There is currently no remuneration available for any of the existing or advertised roles on the Board - all of our Executives and Officers perform their duties entirely voluntarily. However, the goal is to generate sufficient sustainable income to be able to offer workable packages to our most active and vital members as soon as possible, allowing us to better serve our sport and its participants.
An understanding of the financial expectations of a sports governing body and the ability to assist clubs in meeting their own legal requirements are essential.
As with all other roles on the Board, we ask only that the Treasurer commit what time they can to ensuring the correct running of the BKC.
