Warwickshire Rural Housing Association
Skilled volunteers with a commitment to helping sustain rural communities through the provision of affordable housing, are being sought by Warwickshire Rural Housing Association (WRHA).
The award-winning charitable housing association, which provides and manages homes for local people throughout Warwickshire, has a number of vacancies for voluntary Board members keen to help to shape the future of specialist rural housing.
This year WRHA is celebrating 30 years of providing much-needed affordable homes, specifically for local people, enabling individuals to remain in the Warwickshire villages they know and love, close to their friends and families.
By developing and managing affordable housing schemes where they are needed most, WRHA is helping to maintain local services and community facilities and safeguard the future of rural village communities.
WRHA is currently looking for committed individuals interested in helping this innovative organisation continue to make a big impact across the communities it serves.
Board members play a vital role in strategically guiding the work of WRHA and enabling the organisation to continue to break new ground and consistently deliver on its aims and objectives.
The housing association is particularly keen to hear from people with experience of financial management, welfare benefits and systems, housing management, diversity and safeguarding, and legal expertise, as well as those with a knowledge of social housing and community engagement.
Applications from women, people with disabilities and people from an ethnic minority background, are especially welcomed, and WRHA residents and those who live in social housing are actively encouraged to apply.
Anyone interested in this role should visit www.warwickshirerha.org.uk to download the recruitment pack and application form or call 0300 1234 009. The closing date for applications is Monday 24th June.
