Warrington Housing Association is an award winning not for profit provider of over 1,300 homes throughout Warrington. We are committed to investing in community projects and initiatives helping to support our aim of making Warrington a great place to live, in which the potential of individuals and communities can be realised.
In line with our approach to Board renewal and succession planning, we are seeking new members who share our vision and can assist us in meeting our objectives, providing a balance of challenge and support to ensure our long-term future.
We will seek to reflect the communities we serve within our Board composition and we recognise both our moral obligations and the business benefits of diversity. We welcome approaches from all sections of the community but encourage applications from under-represented groups.
At this time we are particularly interested in hearing from those with skills and experience in:
- Financial management and accountancy, including treasury management
- Organisational development and strategic human resources
- Tenant experience and residents’ needs & concerns
Our Board members are expected to prepare for and attend up to six meetings each year and to attend annual strategy days, training and appraisals. In return, we offer remuneration of £2,414 p.a. and training/development opportunities to support you in your role.
As users of the disability confident scheme, we guarantee to interview all disabled applicants who meet and demonstrate the minimum criteria for the vacancy.
