Association for Project Management
The Association for Project Management (APM) is the Chartered professional body for the project profession. We are committed to developing and promoting the value of project management to deliver improved project outcomes for societal benefit.
APM is a registered educational charity with over 30,000 individual members and more than 500 organisations participating in the Corporate Partnership Programme, making it the largest professional body for project management in Europe. See www.apm.org.uk for more details.
APM needs people with relevant experience to volunteer to be on its Audit and Assurance Committee. The Committee helps the Board be assured that APM’s processes are fit for purpose and that the association has good systems of internal control. It is involved in the external audit of APM’s accounts and also commissioning and reviews of APM’s internal functions through internal audit. Individuals with an extenral audit and finance background are particularly encouraged ot expreess their interest.
There are three meetings per year in London. The post is voluntary wiht expenses paid.
