Leeds College of Building (LCB) is unique. We’re the only further education college in the UK dedicated to construction and the built environment, making us nationally recognised for delivering courses and apprenticeships in this field.

We teach our students the skills and knowledge that employers want. Our teaching and assessment teams, together with the College’s industry links means our curriculum mirrors the current and future needs of the industries within the construction and built environment sector.

Courses are available from entry level up to and including level 7.

The College is home to 6,500 students, of all ages and abilities, studying courses from entry level up to and including level 7.

As a College Governor your insight, experience and ideas will influence our boardroom decisions. We’re keen to involve people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. We are spcifally interested in hearing from accountants with audit experience.

Our Governors are unpaid volunteers who find that the role brings many professional rewards such as strategic-level experience, personal development and the satisfaction of being able to make a difference to our students’ lives.
