We are a not for profit organisation which began in 1993 offering independent advocacy support to people who may find it difficult to be heard or speak out for themselves. This may include people with disabilities, older people, and those with mental health issues.
As well as 1:1 advocacy we also run self-advocacy groups; person-centred planning; workshops; and brokerage.
We work in the following areas:
Bracknell Forest: 1:1 advocacy for people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, older people, carers and people with mental health issues; self-advocacy groups; person centred planning for young people with learning disabilities and autism; and workshops for people with Learning Disabilities or people on the Autistic Spectrum.
North East Hampshire: 1:1 advocacy; self-advocacy groups; person centred planning and workshops for people with Learning Disabilities or people with Autism.
Surrey: IMCA (Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy); Brokerage.
Wokingham: 1:1 advocacy for people: with learning disabilities; physical disabilities; mental health issues; older people; carers etc.
