The New Forest Quaker Care Home (informally known as Quaker House) is a residential care home with 38 beds in New Milton. It is a registered charity. The Home employs approximately 40 staff and turnover is £1.1m per annum.

The Home is run with a Quaker ethos and is a not-for-profit organisation. Residents' independence and participation are actively promoted. We have a programme of regular activities and organise several outings each year. We hold regular meetings with residents which are attended by the Registered Manager, other senior staff and one or more Trustees. These meetings give residents an opportunity to express their views on how the Home is run and to raise any issues that may be of concern.  We also encourage visits from family and friends.    

We are looking for a Treasurer to join our board.  The responsibilities include ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place, overseeing the work of the Finance Manger, reviewing and presenting monthly budget monitoring and quarterly accounts to the Trustees and chairing the Finance Committee.

Board meetings are currently held monthly.  Finance Committee meetings are held when required.
